My adorable pal got married this weekend. It was so wonderful! I was not her Wedding Photographer.  I just took some photos for fun.  Here are some pics I snapped.

I had a blast shooting Mike and Kathleen. Their shoot took place during this crazy week of record breaking heat and they didn't complain once. They are totally the kind of people who make the best of things and live life to the fullest. Their positive attitudes and playfulness is contagious. Can't wait to shoot their outdoor wedding later this summer!

My husband, Mark, works for the Spanish speaking service at our church, Casa De Luz.   Casa is a beautiful community that always impresses me with it's love for family, community, and God.  Every year they have a marriage service in which many couples recommit themselves and some couples get married for the first times.   It's a huge celebration and it's beautiful to see couples of all ages and walks in life saying they are committed to one another and the promise they made to God.  I am thankful for the opportunity to capture some of the spirit of the service and share it with you here.

Adorable Miss S* is on the verge of walking and adores her parents! She helped me break in my new lens this week! Such a cutie!
