Sara and Chad - Las Vegas NV Wedding at Lake Mead

Tuesday, March 8, 2016

Sara is one of my nearest and dearest pals, she was even in my kindergarten class but we didn't get to be real close buddies until high-school. Sara has always been such a blessing to me when ever times were rough Sara has been there to encourage me and when things are awesome Sara is right there to celebrate with me. We are so lucky to have such a lasting friendship. Life has been a roller-coaster the past several years for both Sara and I and I am so thankful we had one another to laugh or cringe with. Sara also was my co-shooter when I started shooting weddings and would drive an hour from Plainfield to get me and then to all our weddings. I wouldn't have had the confidence or ability to be doing what I love today if it wasn't for Sara.

So it was a true joy to get to capture some special moments at her Wedding. Sara and Chad are perfect for one another. Chad is laid back and full of energy and warmth. I don't think I have ever seen him without a smile on his face. These two have created a beautiful family bringing their kiddos together and adding the gorgeous little Ruby to the mix. The first time I met Chad I could see his enthusiasm for life and fun and knew he was right for Sara. When I see Sara and Chad together they are always laughing, it makes me so happy because I don't think I know anyone who likes to laugh as much as Sara does.

Their Wedding was perfectly them.  On the way to the Wedding there was a car that had rolled and blocked the dirt road to the site of the ceremony which made everything at least an hour late maybe more but no one cared or was bothered at all. It was just another thing to laugh about and part of making their day interesting and unique. On a side note no one was hurt or that might have made it too interesting LOL. Once to the site everyone pitched in setting up and being excited for Sara and Chad.  After the ceremony Chad crafted the biggest bon fire I have ever seen and BBQed delicious food.  Before ending the night sending off some magical paper lanterns Amy had brought Sara and Chad danced in the light of the fire. It couldn't have been anymore them.

We love you Sara and Chad. Scott and I had a great time photographing your Wedding and will never forget it. We can't wait to see you again!!
